Chandrika Patel is a researcher, cultural commentator and arts professional working freelance in arts, education and heritage sectors. She has worked as an Education Consultant with Trestle Theatre, Apsara Arts and Our Sansar and carried out several arts-based projects in educational and community setting in the UK and abroad.

Chandrika completed M A in applied Drama (Distinction) in 2003 and was the first to complete PhD in drama in British Asian Theatre at the University of Exeter in 2008. As a language trainer, she has worked in Syria, India, Indonesia, Czech Republic and Turkey.
