Primary
In Primary, the children build on skills and strengths developed in the nursery. The atmosphere is more formal and the teaching more structured. This does not mean, however that the children cannot enjoy themselves -we strive to make the learning experience a pleasurable one for the pupils.
Teachers are directed to vary the presentation of lessons in order to keep the children interested in what they are being taught and to use practical demonstrations, whenever possible. This may include taking the children out of the classroom or even out of the school compound in order to observe their surroundings.
Great emphasis is placed on verbal expression and the children are encouraged to participate actively
We cover all topics included in the national curriculum and aim to educate your children to the standard required by the State and Federal Common Entrance Exams.
The subjects we teach are:

- Social Studies
- Primary science
- Agricultural science
- Religious knowledge
- Physical education
- Music
- Drama.
Each year our students achieve well in the Common Entrance Exams and we always have some pupils put forward for the Gifted Children’s School in Abuja.
Each primary class has an experienced and qualified teacher assigned to it often with youth-corpers as assistants. This arrangement with the National Youth Service Corps dates back to 1981.
