Acting

My interest in acting started at a young age when I used to see my dad appear in bit parts on TV. At junior school I played The King in Hans Christian Anderson's "King's New Clothes”. This increased my interest. However I was dissuaded from acting as a career by my family, my mother describing it as "a starving profession".

Much later on I obtained a degree in psychology and was studying for a master's degree in counselling psychology. However, I was unfulfilled and so finally decided to fulfil my childhood dream and pursue acting in a drastic change of career. I auditioned for a few drama schools and took up an offer from The Arts Educational Schools of London. I graduated in 2001 with a post graduate diploma in acting.

Since then I have worked in television, film, theatre, commercials, pop video, photographic, and the corporate sector. On stage, I have appeared in new plays "Witness Appeal", "Sweat", "Dear Mr Kennedy", "Not Quite Gospel", and the comedy musical "Obama On My Mind”. I’ve also appeared in children’s theatre productions "Rumplestiltskin", "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp" and "Dragon Tails".

My film credits include "Exitz", "Cab Hustle”, “Blind Man's Buff", and the multi-award winning "Holly Bolly".On television I appeared in the channel 4 short "Viva Liberty", and recently in CBBC's "Relic - Guardians Of The Museum" as the ancient Egyptian priest Hornedjitef.

I featured as "The Hood" in a commercial for the KFC "Thunderbirds" kids’ meal and have done walk on roles for "Ibuleve" and "Terry's Chocolate Orange”. I have also done cooperate work for Motorolla.
