Graffiti

Graffti Gallery

I first got interested in graffiti in the early 80's when hip hop culture first crossed over from the US.The films "Wild Style", "Style Wars" and "Beat Street", as well as books "Subway Art" and "Spraycan Art" were big influences. Also were pieces done in London by legendary New York graffiti writers Doze and Dondi.

I painted my first piece in 1985 at a graffiti workshop conducted by Brim, co-founder of the legendary TATS crew.I didn't paint again until 1989.Subsequently, I have painted on and off to the present day. This year, 2010, I set myself the challenge of painting 52 pieces!
